Sustainability
Our BUSINESS AND CONDUCT PRINCIPLES
Adler Modemärkte GmbH (ADLER), with its international business orientation, stands for sustainable corporate management and has always regarded the combination of entrepreneurial action with ethical and legal principles as an essential part of its corporate philosophy.
The applicable business and behavioural principles for both ADLER´s day-to-day business and for our suppliers are clearly described in our “Employee Code of Conduct” and in our “Code of Conduct for Suppliers“.
A key instrument for realising our goals and implementing the requirements of the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) is the establishment of an appropriate complaints procedure in accordance with Section 8 LkSG. The complaints procedure enables individuals and organisations to point out human rights and environmental risks as well as violations of human rights or environmental obligations that have arisen as a result of our business activities in our own business area or in the business area of one of our suppliers. This enables us to recognise human rights and environmental risks along our supply chain at an early stage and remedy violations. Details of the complaints procedure can be found in the Code of Procedure.
If you would like to submit a complaint, you can access our complaints system here.
ECOLOGICAL AND SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY
The procurement and sale of textile clothing form the core business of Adler Modemärkte GmbH. Social responsibility, sustainability and environmental awareness are important prerequisites for the long-term success of the company’s business activities. Sustainability considerations are incorporated into all strategic and operational decisions and are also taken into account when working with business partners. The aim of ADLER’s sustainability management is to offer the customer an ecologically and socially sound product and at the same time to act in a socially irreproachable and economically successful manner in the interests of employees, suppliers and other interest groups (stakeholders).
You can find detailed information in our current sustainability report. We cordially invite you to enter into a dialog with us on the topic of sustainability and look forward to your thoughts and suggestions.
